Harpo’s Café & Restaurants is a leading hospitality and event management company in Sri Lanka, founded and managed by Harpo Gooneratne, a well-respected figure in the industry. Established in 2004 with the launch of The Bay Leaf restaurant, known for its authentic Italian cuisine, the company has since expanded its offerings to include a diverse range of dining experiences across Colombo.

Our portfolio includes The Commons coffee house, the Park Street Mews restaurant, Curve – Tapas, Restaurant & Bar, Harpo’s Colombo Fort Café, and Commons Café @ the Hatch building, each providing unique culinary concepts and outdoor catering services, as well as special takeaway and delivery menus.

In addition to our sit-down establishments, Harpo’s Pizza & Pasta is a home-grown brand that has gained popularity since its launch in 2007, with three locations across Colombo offering dine-in, takeout, and delivery options. Our innovative Roaming Truck and Rotti Cart by The Commons enhance our catering capabilities for both private and public events.

We also offer a range of fresh homemade pasta and sauces under Harpo’s Retail Products, available in prominent supermarkets throughout Colombo. Our event management division specializes in organizing unique events featuring both local and international entertainers.

Dedicated to education and skill development, Harpo’s School of Hospitality & Tourism Management, established in 2012, has trained over 500 students, many of whom are now employed in city and resort hotels across the country.
