The Institute of Peruvian Studies (Instituto de Estudios Peruanos, IEP) is a prestigious social sciences research center in Lima, Peru, specializing in the interdisciplinary study of social, economic, political, and cultural issues in Peru and Latin America. Founded over 50 years ago, IEP has made significant contributions to the understanding of critical national topics and the promotion of equitable development. Its research is organized into four main areas: inequalities and social change, power, democracy and citizenship, and reforms and public policies. IEP publishes a wide range of scholarly work through its Editorial Fund, which includes around 900 titles and produces approximately 30 new publications annually.
